Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TravelBed platform ("TravelBed", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using TravelBed, you agree to these Terms.

2. What TravelBed Provides

TravelBed provides software and infrastructure that enables Hosts to:

  • Manage accommodation listings
  • Accept direct bookings
  • Process payments
  • Communicate with guests

TravelBed is not:

  • A property manager
  • A booking agent
  • A party to any agreement between Host and Guest

All bookings are made directly between Host and Guest.

3. User Accounts

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Host and Guest Relationship

All contracts are between:

  • The Host, and
  • The Guest

TravelBed is not liable for:

  • Property conditions
  • Cancellations or disputes
  • Guest behaviour
  • Host conduct

5. Payments

TravelBed may facilitate payments on behalf of Hosts. However:

  • The Host is the merchant of record, unless explicitly stated otherwise
  • The Host is responsible for: Taxes, Refunds, Chargebacks, Compliance with financial regulations

We may suspend payment processing in cases of suspected fraud or misuse.

6. Fees

TravelBed may charge platform fees for use of its services. All fees will be clearly disclosed. We reserve the right to update pricing with reasonable notice.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to comply with the TravelBed Acceptable Use Policy.

8. Data and Privacy

  • Hosts retain ownership of their data
  • TravelBed processes data to provide its services
  • Full details are provided in our Privacy Policy and Data Policy

9. Platform Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee:

  • Continuous availability
  • Error-free operation

We may:

  • Modify or discontinue features
  • Perform maintenance
  • Restrict access where necessary

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TravelBed is not liable for:

  • Loss of income or bookings
  • Property damage
  • Guest or Host disputes
  • Indirect or consequential losses

Our total liability is limited to the fees paid to TravelBed in the preceding 12 months.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify TravelBed against claims arising from:

  • Your listings
  • Your conduct
  • Your breach of these Terms

12. Termination

You may stop using TravelBed at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • You breach these Terms
  • We believe there is risk to the platform or users

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of TravelBed constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
